About the Role

Work alongside our Development and QA teams to shape and implement technology and product deliverables that drive Solink's product forward. Your main focus will be testing new and existing core application features, creating and maintaining test plans, and ensuring high quality throughout the development lifecycle. As a quality gatekeeper, you will increase test coverage, optimize testing strategies, and proactively identify and mitigate quality risks to deliver reliable products to our customers.

Who You Are

• 5+ years of manual and automated testing experience in front-end and back-end environments
• Solid understanding of Python, effectively used in testing and QA processes
• Familiarity with Linux
• Experience with video development, streaming technologies, or testing video pipelines
• Basic understanding of AWS services supporting SaaS applications for IoT environments
• Proven ability to create, update, and review detailed test plans and strategies
• Experience leading tests independently, planning, estimating timelines, and participating in development discussions
• Passionate about manual and automated testing, choosing approaches based on scenario needs
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and passion for QA
• Enjoys problem-solving and challenges
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, confident in providing feedback and challenging stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ownership of tasks and responsibilities
• Interest in learning new tools and technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred

What You Will Do

• Own and drive test strategy, coverage, tooling, automation, and CI/CD integration
• Ensure quality of web and mobile applications
• Perform manual and automated testing for frontend and backend
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Playwright
• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand features and create test cases
• Identify, report, and verify defects; manage QA risks
• Gain deep understanding of our SaaS platform from multiple perspectives
• Mentor junior QA team members
• Engage in exploratory testing to identify issues
• Continuously improve QA processes for better efficiency and coverage
