Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

The Nationwide Group (TNG) is a pioneer in designing and developing outsourced financial services software, exclusively focused on creating comprehensive and customizable solutions for the real estate industry. POSITION DETAILS:

This Senior role reports to the QA Automation Manager. Responsibilities include automation testing, UAT, and regression testing of TNGOC Systems, focusing on automated tools. The analyst will develop, maintain automation scripts, and execute test cases based on Business requirements. This role is part of an Agile team working in two-week Sprint cycles, providing expertise across the full software development lifecycle from concept to deployment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Design, develop, and execute test cases using Automated Testing Tools (Ranorex), databases, and web applications. Determine testing requirements, environments, and scopes based on business needs.
  2. Create and implement comprehensive test plans and scenarios to ensure product functionality. Collaborate with development and stakeholder teams to propose system changes and prepare data for testing.
  3. Work closely with cross-functional teams including development, business analysts, and project coordinators to verify software functionality through automation and manual testing, using daily scrums and scrum boards for coordination.
  4. Serve as a subject matter expert, effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical team members.
  5. Maintain and produce technical documentation such as design documents, test logs, and reports.
  6. Adhere to organizational policies regarding data security, health & safety, and other relevant standards.
  7. Research and recommend new technologies to improve application performance and quality.
  8. Perform other duties or ad-hoc projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field; or 3-5 years of relevant experience in software testing and development.
  • At least 3 years’ experience testing web and database applications.
  • Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience with Ranorex, Selenium, or similar automation tools.
  • Expertise in scripting, test methodologies, and object-oriented programming (MVC, Spring, JSF).
  • Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, SVN, Git, Jenkins.
  • Experience working in Scrum and Agile environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, quick learner, creative thinker, and team player with leadership qualities.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to quickly grasp new concepts and technologies.
