Job Description

The opportunity :

The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst oversees all quality assurance activities within projects. You will be responsible for reviewing system requirements, functional specifications, and design documents. Your role will include creating all test artifacts in line with quality standards, ensuring that the product or application meets established quality criteria, including reliability, usability, and performance.

Tasks and responsibilities :

  • Lead & direct all efforts of the QA team.
  • Create test artifacts (Test strategy, Test Plan, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, and Test Closure).
  • Define, implement, and enforce departmental QA policies, guidelines, standards, and procedures.
  • Identify testing strategies for projects, define scope, and coordinate with teams for QA environment needs and readiness.
  • Participate in internal reviews of test cases.
  • Execute test plans, test cases, and scripts.
  • Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in Quality Assurance (QA).
  • 5+ years in software testing.
  • Experience in the retail industry (asset).

  • Expertise in QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel).
