Raise is seeking a Senior SAP Quality Assurance Lead/Analyst to drive QA for SAP S/4HANA upgrade projects. You will guide test delivery, design strategies, and work with application teams and leadership to ensure reliable deployments in an integrated SAP environment.

You will leverage hands-on SAP ERP expertise, promote smart testing, govern quality, and mentor a team through complex enterprise testing cycles in a financial services setup.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years SAP experience in ERP/ECC or S/4HANA-based environments.
• 5+ years delivering SAP initiatives in agile, waterfally or hybrid settings.
• 2+ years in SAP upgrade testing with test planning and scripting.
• End-to-end testing lifecycle expertise across FUT, SIT, UAT and regression.
• Strong stakeholder communication and professional interaction with multi-teams.
• Structured test planning, scoping docs, and summary reporting.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentorship in QA teams.
• Nice-to-have: Tosca, qTest, Playwright, Jira, ServiceNow, SAP tools.

Description

The Senior SAP QA Lead / Analyst in this role will play a pivotal role in leading Quality Assurance for our clients major SAP S/4HANA Upgrade and related enterprise SAP projects. In this role, you will act as a senior QA lead and Subject Matter Expert (SME), managing test delivery, designing comprehensive test strategies, and collaborating closely with application teams, business stakeholders, and leadership. Leveraging your extensive SAP ERP hands-on expertise, you will advocate for "smart testing," drive quality governance, and ensure smooth, reliable deployments across highly integrated SAP environments.

Responsibilities

• Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
• QA Leadership & Delivery Management: Act in a senior QA Analyst capacity while guiding, mentoring, and managing delivery outputs from other QA Analysts on the team.
• SAP Domain Expertise: Apply strong functional/technical domain knowledge across key SAP ERP processes, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting, Lease Accounting, Master Data, and Fiori applications.
• Smart Testing & Scope Definition: Collaborate with SAP application teams, key business users, and project stakeholders to define "must-do" testing scope and promote risk‑based smart testing strategies.
• Requirements & Automation Analysis: Analyze business requirements to determine testability, define testing scope, and identify candidate scenarios for automated testing.
• Test Strategy & Execution: Develop end‑to‑end testing strategies, test plans, test scripts, and acceptance criteria across all test cycles.
• Integrated Environment Testing: Execute comprehensive end‑to‑end testing in a complex, highly integrated landscape, incorporating both constructive and destructive test cases.
• Automation Collaboration: Identify automation scenarios and clearly record requirements for automated test creation.
• Deliverable Quality: Oversee and guarantee the completeness, accuracy, and overall quality of all QA deliverables (test summaries, defect reports, sign-offs, etc.).

Qualifications

• 10–15+ Years of SAP Experience: Hands‑on functional, testing, or development experience with SAP ERP/ECC systems or platforms built on an S/4HANA foundation.
• 5+ Years of Project Delivery: Experience delivering SAP initiatives within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project environments.
• 2+ Years of Upgrade Testing Experience: Direct, hands‑on involvement or test collaboration in an SAP upgrade project (identifying test scenarios, creating test plans, and building test scripts).
• Comprehensive Testing Lifecycle Knowledge: Demonstrated expertise across all testing stages: Functional Unit Testing (FUT), System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Smoke Testing.
• Stakeholder Management & Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a persuasive, professional style; proven success interacting with diverse business and technical stakeholders across a multi-team environment.
• Documentation & Analytical Skills: Strong skills in creating structured test plans, scoping documents, and summary reports, backed by critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Proven track record of mentoring team members, sharing technical expertise, and driving testing excellence.
• Nice‑to‑Have Skills & Experience:
• Testing & Automation Tools: Hands‑on familiarity with Tricentis Tosca, qTest, Playwright, Jira, ServiceNow, or similar enterprise QA/ITS tools.
• Change Impact Analysis: Experience conducting SAP Change Impact Analysis (e.g., SolMan, Solution Documentation, or automated impact tools).
• QA Governance: Background in establishing or adhering to enterprise QA governance and sustainment frameworks.
• Industry Experience: Direct Quality Assurance or testing experience within the Banking / Financial Services sector.
