Job Title: Senior Quality Analyst

Location: Victoria, British Columbia - Canada

Job Summary:

Reporting to the plant Quality Manager, the Quality Engineering Technologies support compliance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System, including customer satisfaction, financial performance of Quality, product and process auditing, and support for production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and perform roving product & process audits. Coach closure of non-conformances.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Engineering personnel to determine critical part features and review manufacturability.
  • Confirm measurements/results on the floor during audits & MRB processes. Assist with data entry and communicate regularly with cross-functional teams.
  • Create sorting instructions for containment of scrap events.
  • Support documentation control, gage calibrations, golden samples, and programming of measurement equipment.
  • Maintain policies, procedures, control plans, and audits to foster compliance and improve customer satisfaction and financial performance.
  • Dispost suspect material, drive problem solving, and identify systemic opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with training, record maintenance, and general support for quality engineering and management groups.

Qualifications:

  • 2-Year Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field.
  • Experience with quality assurance, ISO 9001, and QMS standards.
  • Knowledge of measurement devices, drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong communication skills, proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, SharePoint.
  • Canadian citizen or Permanent Residency required.
