Job summary

Softline Technology Inc. in Toronto, Ontario, is looking for a Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialist with 5+ years of experience to help build a modern digital information system and its integration with other internal and external applications.

You will prepare test plans, write test cases, perform functional and UAT testing, and support knowledge transfer across teams. Strong communication and independent work capability are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of defect tracking experience using a collaborative tool to manage defects and change requests and to communicate status to all project participants.
• Experience in developing test plans, test scripts and test data; documenting software defects and tracking resolutions.
• Experience with User Acceptance Testing and leading initial UAT sessions.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare appropriate level test cases for functional/unit testing.
• Perform functional/unit testing and document results.
• Assist other parties/groups with their related testing activities (UAT).
• Participate in knowledge transfer.
