Job summary

Zafin is seeking a QA Engineer III to lead functional quality assurance for complex banking applications. You will apply hands-on manual testing, automation, and thorough test documentation to ensure release quality across backend processes, APIs, and data workflows.

This role requires 8+ years of testing experience, strong batch processing, data validation, API testing, and CI/CD familiarity. You will mentor peers, drive QA improvements, and collaborate with engineering, product, and BI teams

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software QA experience with manual testing and automation.
• Experience testing batch processing systems with job dependencies and batch reconciliation.
• Proficiency in event-driven and data-intensive systems, ETL testing, data validation.
• Strong automation skills using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Rest Assured, Java or Python.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps and cloud/microservices.

Responsibilities

• Own functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing for complex apps.
• Analyze requirements, design test scenarios, and identify gaps early.
• Create test plans, cases, and traceability matrices with evidence.
• Validate APIs and backend using Postman and automation for repeatable tests.
• Develop and maintain automated tests to improve coverage and efficiency.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to process improvements.
