Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Engineer to join our team to lead the testing for our upcoming retail banking digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance from functional as well non-functional standpoint and understanding of retail banking software / solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategies and build test plans for new features continuously improving existing ones.
• Requirement Analysis and design test cases.
• Conduct various types of testing (Smoke Sanity Functional SIT E2E Compatibility Regression) and assist with UAT and post-production verification.
• Lead end-to-end test automation efforts implementing & maintaining efficient automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI / CD pipeline.
• Conduct mobile app testing to ensure quality across web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders including Engineering team members Product Managers and Infra teams.
• Identify track and report defects perform root cause analysis and support defect triage.
• Maintain clear and thorough documentation of QA processes test cases and findings.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to junior QA engineers.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing across all team members.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.

Years and Range of Experience Required to Perform the Job

• 5 years in QA engineering with expertise in manual as well as web & mobile automated testing.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies tools and processes.
• Proficient with JIRA Zephyr Selenium Appium Postman and Cross-browser / device tools.
• Excellent problem-solving attention to detail and strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Exposure on - performance / stress testing accessibility testing security testing.
• Having worked in Start-up or fast paced environments.
