Senior QA Compliance Analyst required for SAP program (3 year contract). (2025-033)

Our GTA based, Municipal Government Client is looking for an Audit and QA Compliance Analyst for their SAP program.

ROLE:

The Audit and QA Compliance Analyst is responsible for the co-ordination and execution of QA strategies and plans on IT projects to ensure delivery of quality business solutions for IT customers with the focus on QA audits and quality inspections.

The Audit and QA Compliance Analyst co-ordinates the Quality Assurance (QA) function on IT applications, technologies and IT processes in accordance with established departmental methodology.This involves:

  • ensuring the QA strategy and approach that is set out by the Director - Quality Assurance is adhered to;
  • development of QA plans for IT processes, capital projects and operating initiatives.
  • reviewing all project documentation (charters, plans and schedules) to ensure that solution delivery approach is aligned and effectively encompasses the scope of the project; and reflect the solution architecture and business requirements;
  • reviewing all process documentation to identify areas for improvement and flag all possible risks;
  • scheduling of QA activities to ensure that quality audits and inspections are conducted in accordance with established project complexity, process complexity or system criticality;

Co-ordinates the Quality Assurance (QA) activities to assure quality of IT applications and technologies for projects, upgrades and enhancements is conducted in accordance with established methodology.This involves:

  • meeting with project teams and analysts from other ITS functional groups to co-ordinate and schedule QA activities and assuring conformance to qualityrequirements;
  • reviewing the solution architecture, solution implementation, business requirements, support plans and detailed system design specifications to ensure they are aligned with the business needs;
  • reviewing established by project teams product measurements and evaluating the achievement of quality objectives to ensure established targets for the department are met;
  • reviewing the developed test strategies and plans and execution of functional and non-functional testing of solutions to ensure they are performing as indicated;
  • reviewingRequirements Traceability Matrices (RTM) to ensure test cases are identified and covering the approved solution architecture and business requirements;
  • reviewing reported defects to ensure they are fixed, retested, and closed;
  • assuring all system environments/permissions are set up adequately according to solution architecture and solution implementation documentation to support production deployment;

MUST HAVE:

  • Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in quality assurance, with a thorough knowledge of software life cycle principles and quality assurance methodology;
  • Mandatory requirement: Must have experience working with SAP and/or SAP certified solutions preferably in the HR, Finance, Materials management, Logistics, Warehouse management domains.
  • Experience working with SAP and/or SAP certified cloud solutions such as SuccessFactors, ARIBA, Workforce etc.
  • Major IT implementation experience and understanding how systems are affected by business process change
  • At least 2 years of practical experience with using a wide variety of techniques to gather and document requirements and in using a variety of models/diagrams
  • Completion of a post-secondary program in Computer Science, Engineering, or the equivalent, combined with several years of quality assurance/testing experience in the client server environment.
