Job summary

CIeNET Canada is seeking a Software Quality Assurance and Automation Test Engineer focused on ADAS Controllers. The role involves defining and executing test plans, building automation, and ensuring high-quality software across the product lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in automotive software testing, strong Python skills, and experience with CAN/Ethernet, INCA/CANoe, and HIL environments. CIeNET offers growth and a collaborative team in Markham, Ontario.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of embedded software testing and automation in Automotive.
• Experience with Python and automation testing methodologies.
• Ability to write automation test scripts.
• Experience with CAN/Ethernet protocols and test tools.
• Experience with Calibration/Validation Development is a plus.
• Experience with INCA/CANoe/Vetor CANalyzer/VSpy.
• Ability to troubleshoot controller test issues on HIL bench.
• Strong troubleshooting and teamwork abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute black box test cases to validate ADAS controller functions.
• Automate test cases and test infrastructure.
• Maintain documentation during and after testing.
• Troubleshoot automated test and controller issues.
• Prepare test results and reports to industry standards.
• Modify calibration/test scripts to meet validation requirements.
• Develop scripts and automation for testing tasks.
• Leverage AI tools in testing activities.
