Job summary

Citi in Canada seeks a Senior Development Engineer in Test to advance automated testing across complex multi-tier applications. You will design frameworks in Java/TypeScript, support UAT and production rollout, and collaborate with global teams to ensure quality and compliance.

You will develop scripts, monitor processes, and analyze root causes to drive improvements in SDLC documentation and test coverage. Strong automation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in functional testing of complex multi-tier applications and demonstrated expertise in automating them.
• Strong experience in End-to-End system testing.
• Proficient in building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch, with strong skills in Java, TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Supports initiatives related to UAT process and product rollout into production. Design and implement scripts/plans for testing strategy.
• Conducts moderately complex process monitoring, product evaluation and audit assignments; reports issues and recommends solutions.
• Ensure project standards and procedures exist, are clearly documented and followed through SDLC; suggest enhancements to documentation.
• Functional automation for the test cases.
• Monitors products for conformance to standards and processes for conformance to procedures.
• Documents findings and performs preliminary root causes analyses to provide improvements.
• Ensures corrective actions are assigned, documented and completed.
• Verifies traceability in project work products.
• Gathers, maintains and creates reports on quality metrics.
