Join us as a Senior Python Full Stack Developer at Python Software Foundation . We are seeking an experienced developer with 10+ years in software development, proficient in Python, React.js, and database management (MySQL / Aurora), with AWS experience. Note : Candidates must be physically located in Canada.

Position Details

• Title : Senior Python Full Stack Developer
• Location : Canada (Remote)
• Hours : 40 hours / week
• Type : T4 Contract, 1-year initial with extension possibility

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Python and React.js

Manage and optimize databases like MySQL or Aurora

Deploy and manage applications using AWS services such as S3 and EMR

Collaborate with teams to define and implement features

Ensure application performance, scalability, and security

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

Document architecture and technical requirements

Stay updated with emerging technologies

Mentor junior developers as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Software Engineering or IT

10+ years in software development

Expertise in Python, React.js, MySQL / Aurora

Experience with AWS (S3, EMR)

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Leadership abilities for project guidance
