You will contribute as a hands-on engineer delivering production-grade Python applications, APIs, and scalable architectures in an Agile setting. The role emphasizes end-to-end delivery, security, and collaboration with stakeholders to drive business outcomes across Citi's enterprise platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Python development with Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and query tuning.
• Secure coding practices aligned with OWASP Top 10.
• End-to-end delivery experience from design to production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable Python applications meeting production standards for reliability and maintainability.
• Design secure RESTful APIs and integration patterns across distributed systems.
• Collaborate on architecture decisions for robust, long-lasting solutions.
• Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Evaluate emerging technologies to improve team capability and product quality.
• Contribute to Agile sprint delivery with clean, tested, documented code.
• Identify and elevate risks in the development lifecycle to protect integrity.
