Job summary

Apexon is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join a team building a highly scalable, secure core banking platform in Toronto. You will design and implement backend services using Python, microservices, distributed systems, REST APIs, SQL/MySQL, and Docker.

You will own features end-to-end, contribute to system design, mentor engineers, and help ensure performance, reliability, and robust ops for high-volume transactions. This is a 5-day onsite role in Toronto.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Software Development experience.
• RabbitMQ or similar Message Brokers.
• Strong System Design & Technical Design experience.
