Job summary

Apexon is seeking a Senior Backend Python Developer to build secure, scalable platforms for a core banking environment. You will work on production-grade Python backend services and REST APIs, with a focus on high-volume transaction processing and system reliability.

You will collaborate with product, engineering and cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize distributed microservices, and mentor junior engineers while delivering end-to-end features.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Hands-on backend Python development
• Strong understanding of transactions, isolation levels, locking & deadlocks
• Experience with messaging systems like RabbitMQ
• Experience owning features end-to-end
