Senior Public Accountant

Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Public Accountant in the public accounting sector in Guelph, Ontario.

Accountabilities:

1. Perform assurance engagements including notice to reader, compilations, and review engagements.
2. Provide technical accounting advice to clients and colleagues.
3. Assist in managing client relationships and attending client meetings as required.
4. Conduct detailed analytical reviews of client financial statements and records.

Successful candidates will have:

1. Minimum 2+ years of experience in public practice with experience in audit, assurance, compilations, and tax.
2. CPA designation or close to completion.
3. Experience in preparing financial statements and performing assurance engagements.
4. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
