Job summary

QuadReal Property Group, based in Vancouver, is seeking a Property Accounting leader to manage day-to-day activities of the accounting team for commercial and self-storage assets. You will oversee month-ends, budgets and reporting from the Vancouver office, while guiding staff and driving process improvements.

The role requires a professional accounting designation and 5–15 years of progressive real estate accounting experience, including supervision.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting designation is required.
• 5–15 years of progressive real estate accounting experience, including supervision of staff.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of the property accounting team.
• Oversee commercial and self-storage asset accounting from Vancouver office.
• Plan and ensure timely property month-ends, budgets, operating cost adjustments and reporting.
• Manage staff workloads and provide guidance and process improvements.
• Conduct training, performance evaluations and staff development.
• Participate in special projects and senior management requests.
