Job summary

QuadReal Property Group is seeking a Property Accountant to join our team in Canada. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, manage balance sheet reconciliations, and support leases and recoveries using Yardi.

The role requires CPA designation or equivalent experience, a minimum of two years in commercial property accounting, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• CPA designation or equivalent accounting credential.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial property accounting experience.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with Yardi are required or asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements per QuadReal policy.
• Analyze balance sheet and reconcile working papers; explain variances.
• Calculate and record operating costs and tax recoveries using Yardi models.
• Review leases for accuracy; ensure correct rent, deposits, TI, and recoveries.
• Set up and maintain tenant recoveries and straight-line rent entries.
• Support audits with complete files and respond to inquiries.
