Project Technologis

Environmental Due Diligence and Remediation (EDR

Kenora, ON

The Project Technologist, based in the Kenora office, will support Pinchin’s clients in Northwestern Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site inspections, assessments, testing and reporting on environmental remediation, hazardous materials, mould, hygiene, and air quality.

A Day in the life of a Project Technologist at Pinchin:

  • Scheduling inspections and meetings with clients and contractors
  • Collection and analysis of various types of samples (training provided)
  • Preparing technical reports and drawings; detailing findings of site assessments/inspections and recommendations
  • Ensuring the safety of workers and building occupants relative to work for which Pinchin is responsible
  • Liaise between clients and contractors, while maintaining existing client relationships and building new relationships
  • Providing assistance and support to the Branch Manager and Project Manager
  • Maintaining and enhancing quality control within the group

What You Bring To The Pinchin Team

  • Degree or Diploma in Architectural or Environmental Technology, Civil/Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Proficiency with AutoCad considered an asset
  • Professional communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance & personal vehicle (work related travel expenses will be compensated)
  • Availability to travel for work within Northwest Ontario, other jurisdictions and provinces might be required for training
  • Availability to work outside of core business hours
