We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Project Manager with a background in Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) construction to lead projects in the Greater Ottawa Area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient execution of projects, while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.

With over 35 years of experience in the construction industry, our client has built a strong reputation through a proven track record of successful projects across the Industrial, Commercial, Institutional, and Heavy Civil market segments. They specialize in safely delivering projects ranging from $1 million to $100 million, with a primary focus on the healthcare, education, recreation, and water & wastewater sectors.

Description

• Lead and manage the construction of Water Treatment and Wastewater Treatment Facility projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful delivery that meets all project specifications.
• Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Manage relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Prepare and present project reports to senior management.
• Oversee the procurement of materials and resources.
• Resolve project issues to ensure smooth execution.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

• Experience with the commissioning and startup of complex mechanical, process, and electrical systems.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Proficiency in project management software.
