We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Wastewater Project Manager in Kitchener to support our Ontario team. You will provide leadership, technical expertise, and discipline in project execution. The role is mainly remote, with occasional travel for meetings.

You will work with a team of motivated engineers and project managers, leading the delivery of high-quality projects that meet or exceed client expectations and deliver planned profits. You will also champion safety and foster a culture of caring.

Your responsibilities include developing project execution plans (scope, fee, schedule, quality, health and safety, risk, change management), negotiating sub-agreements, tracking and reporting project performance, ensuring timely invoicing and cash collection, and providing technical guidance. You will also mentor and empower the project team.

Maintaining effective communication with clients is key. You will support Business Development and Client Service Managers in expanding opportunities. You may also contribute to regional growth and delivery strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering
  • P. Eng designation
  • At least 15 years of engineering design and management experience in municipal projects
  • Proven experience managing technical, contractual, and financial risks in wastewater projects
  • Extensive project management experience in multidisciplinary projects, including planning, scheduling, estimating, budgeting, and performance monitoring
  • Experience with design, contract administration, and construction management
  • Experience in sales and business development, including writing technical proposals
  • Experience delivering projects in Eastern Canada is an asset
  • Formal project management training aligned with PMI or similar bodies is an asset

Salary Range: Minimum $106,000 - Maximum $158,840
