Qualifications

• University degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• P.Eng. designation.
• 10+ years of related project experience.
• Technical excellence in civil & roadway design.
• Understanding of multi-disciplinary project design/management, including utility coordination, traffic management, approvals, coordination of sub-consultants and schedule/budget control.
• Experience in a project management or technical lead capacity for clients.
• Full life-cycle project leadership from kickoff through design, approvals, tender, construction and close-out.
• Familiarity with roadway design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Inroads, ORD).

Responsibilities

• Prepare project management plans and manage scope, schedule, and budget.
• Ensure compliance with TAC, BC MoTT, MMCD and other standards.
• Maintain relationships with discipline leads, department heads, PMs, controls staff, and construction personnel.
• Maintain high technical quality on projects.
• Mentor project staff and participate in hiring processes.
• Oversee day-to-day operations within the roads and highways team.
