Job summary

TC Energy in Canada is seeking a Project Manager to lead facilities regulated programs, ensuring reliable operation and continuous improvement across pipeline assets. You will collaborate with Canada Gas Operations, Integrated Planning, and Engineering to plan, organize and execute programs, bringing strong technical, project management, and communication skills.

The role requires travel to various company locations for temporary assignments, meetings or training with up to 25% overnight stays,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 10 years of related project management experience.
• Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
• Proficient in PC-based computer systems and software applications with an emphasis on SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, Master Plan, and Project.
• Proven ability to embrace and lead change and quickly understand new processes and related issues.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage General Plant Maintenance Capital (GPMC) projects for process safety critical equipment, including turbocompressor equipment and auxiliary systems, balance of plant equipment.
• Oversee various maintenance projects to ensure all applicable regulatory and corporate requirements are met.
• Perform time and cost management of the programs and projects, including budgets and schedules, managing project cost change control and variance reporting of cost, scope and schedule and risk.
• Provide bi-weekly and monthly updates on project performance metrics.
• Direct and manage the work of external consultants and contractors.
• Effectively collaborate with the internal stakeholders' and understand their expectations and expert contributions and how they can contribute to the program or project success.
• Optimize and align field resources to support field implementation.
• Identify data integrity improvements and cost savings through analysis of the program.
• Support the development and implementation of TC Energy’s project management tools, standards and processes to support the implementation of regulated programs within Canada.
• Identify opportunities for value creation and efficiency improvements to reduce overall project costs.
