What You’ll Be Doing
As the Senior Project Manager, you will join CIBC’s Infrastructure & Modernization Project Delivery team, focusing on delivery impacting Operations within Capital Markets & Wealth Management. You will manage a portfolio of projects from end-to-end, working closely with stakeholders and business partners to ensure projects are completed on scope, within budget, and on time, following CIBC’s Enterprise Delivery Framework (EDF). You will leverage your expertise in project management and people change management (PCM) methodologies to recommend continuous improvements across all project plans.

How You’ll Succeed
Project Management: Define project goals, resource needs, track financials and benefits, and support project artifacts. Develop resource plans that clarify stakeholder roles and facilitate project ideation and business case development. Communicate project status effectively and lead with a focus on client experience.
Communication: Create presentation materials for reporting and executive discussions. Manage work progress and negotiate with business partners to ensure alignment.
People Change Management: Lead change management efforts within projects, incorporating methodologies to ensure smooth transitions.
Collaboration: Assist internal partners, including executives, in decision-making related to programs, products, and services. Work collaboratively to achieve shared goals.
Project Leadership: Identify and resolve issues that threaten project timelines, monitor milestones, and develop personalized project plans balancing quality, time, and cost.
Who You Are
You have experience with Capital Markets vendor management tools (e.g., Broadridge, Arrow) and trade workflow applications.
You embrace change and continuously evolve your approach.
You have experience with People Change Management methodologies and tools.
You value collaboration and believe in the power of an inclusive team.
You build relationships and influence outcomes through networks.
You have 7-10 years of project management experience, a relevant degree or diploma, PMP certification, and training in People Change Management (e.g., Prosci). An MBA is a plus.
