What You’ll Be Doing
As the Sr. Project Manager, you will join CIBC’s Infrastructure & Modernization Project Delivery team, focusing on delivery impacting Operations within Capital Markets & Wealth Management. You will work closely with others and manage a portfolio of projects from end-to-end. You will lead teams of stakeholders and business partners to ensure projects of all sizes are completed in line with the team’s scope, budget, quality, and timelines, following CIBC’s Enterprise Delivery Framework (EDF). You will use your expertise in project management and people change management (PCM) methodologies to recommend continuous improvements on all project plans.

How You’ll Succeed
Project Management – Outline project goals, resource requirements, track financials and benefits, and support in delivering project artifacts. Ensure all stakeholders understand their role and have a voice. This may also include project ideation and business case development. Be effective in communicating project status, issues, and risks. Provide leadership to ensure project objectives are met with a focus on client experience.
Communication – Develop presentation materials to report project status and support executive decision-making. Calibrate work progress, participate in negotiations, and influence business partners to ensure alignment across initiatives.
People Change Management – Lead and manage the People Change Management components of projects by integrating change management methodologies into planning, integration, and execution to ensure smooth transitions.
Collaboration – Assist internal partners, including executives, in making informed decisions about programs, products, and services. Work closely with teams toward common goals and negotiate deliverables and milestones when necessary.
Project Leadership – Proactively identify risks to project schedules and find solutions. Monitor milestones to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion. Develop, execute, and track personalized project plans aligned with quality, time, and cost priorities.
Who You Are
Experience with Capital Markets vendor management tools (e.g., Broadridge, Arrow) and trade workflow applications.

Experience in People Change Management methodologies, principles, and tools.

Influential, building relationships and networks to achieve outcomes.
7-10 years of project management experience, with relevant degree/diploma. PMP certification and training in People Change Management (e.g., Prosci) are required; an MBA is an asset.
