Fluor’s Mining & Metals (M&M) operations has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our Vancouver-based team.

The Senior Project Manager will be a key leader within the business line, responsible for the delivery of feasibility studies and engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction/construction management (EPFC/CM) projects. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience managing project execution on large concentrator projects with teams of 100 or more personnel.

Responsibilities include:

1. Establishing and managing project safety plans, emphasizing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) throughout all project phases.
2. Developing a thorough understanding of the prime contract and relevant subcontracts to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
3. Ensuring full adherence to the prime contract regarding client reporting, notifications, project system start-up, and close-out requirements.
4. Providing leadership within a large project or across multiple projects at a single site to ensure safety, quality, value, timeliness, and profitability.
5. Creating a positive work environment and fostering strong relationships among project team members, guiding work implementation towards aligned goals.
6. Managing and controlling project costs and schedules with effective project controls, including establishing reporting structures and change management systems.
7. Collaborating with sales, operations, and technical teams to develop project and commercial strategies.
8. Managing personnel and supporting their professional development.
9. Traveling domestically and internationally as needed for business purposes.
10. Performing other duties as assigned.
