Overview

THP seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager for the HealthWorks project team within Capital Planning and Redevelopment. The role involves project management, controls, and integration for infrastructure projects, supporting THP’s mission to innovate healthcare delivery. The Senior Project Manager will report to the Associate Vice-Presidents of HealthWorks, collaborating with project teams across M-Site and Q-Site, ensuring efficient delivery, managing risks, and developing solutions to ensure project success.

The ideal candidate demonstrates a commitment to THP’s mission, values, and a person-centered approach to healthcare.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead or support project approach and plan development, ensuring objectives are met.
  2. Develop reports, briefing notes, RFPs, presentations, data analyses, and communications.
  3. Coordinate with project teams and the Project Control Office for governance reviews.
  4. Monitor and report project progress, escalate issues appropriately.
  5. Engage with external supports and coordinate activities.
  6. Build trusted relationships with partners and subject matter experts.
  7. Establish governance structures and oversee project deliverables.
  8. Communicate with stakeholders and adapt to changing requirements.
  9. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure deliverables.
  10. Manage risks related to integration and change management.
  11. Perform other duties as required.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree required; related disciplines preferred.
  • Masters degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7+ years of healthcare project management experience.
  • Experience with Ontario Ministry of Health’s capital planning and Infrastructure Ontario’s AFP/P3 is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of hospital strategic planning.
  • Leadership, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of project management best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to support collaborative team design and develop reports for diverse audiences.
  • This position involves a hybrid work model.
