Your Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager who can serve as a trusted advisor to our clients and build strong, lasting relationships with senior leaders. You should possess in-depth construction knowledge and have led complex project teams across various construction delivery methodologies. Experience leading healthcare and/or long-term care health projects with significant complexity is essential. Your leadership and expertise will help position our team for upcoming healthcare and Long-term Care projects throughout the Atlantic region.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate company values and cultural behaviors.
  • Consult directly with clients and stakeholders to successfully complete long-term care and healthcare projects, varying in size, scope, and complexity.
  • Understand and advocate for your clients’ best interests regarding project outcomes.
  • Manage client relationships and adapt to new or evolving requirements.
  • Develop project plans by defining client objectives, success criteria, schedules, budgets, procurement strategies, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Lead procurement efforts and negotiate contracts with architects, contractors, and third-party consultants.
  • Mentor and oversee multiple project delivery teams, managing procurement, risk, cost, schedule, scope, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Monitor team performance and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Provide financial oversight, including forecasts, cost tracking, and regular reporting.
  • Build business and secure additional healthcare and long-term care projects in the Atlantic provinces.
  • Ensure quality deliverables and high client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of capital project management experience, including at least 5 years leading large-scale projects with varying scope and complexity.
  • University degree or college diploma in engineering, architecture, construction management, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project management models, financial management, building codes, contract types, and relevant legislation.
  • Professional credentials such as PMP, CET, Registered Architect, or similar are considered assets.
  • Experience in pursuing, securing, and leading healthcare projects is highly desirable.
  • Relevant experience in multi-residential and other building constructions.
  • Proven leadership and organizational skills with the ability to influence and resolve issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Word, and Excel.
