Highlights of the Role
  • Lead Strategic Projects: Define project vision, scope, and success metrics; manage integrated plans and ensure alignment with enterprise goals.
  • Drive Execution Excellence: Oversee full project lifecycle using PMO frameworks, KPIs, and tools like MS Project and Power BI.
  • Engage Stakeholders: Build trust with executives and business partners through clear communication and steering committee facilitation.
  • Mentor Teams: Support and develop Project Coordinators and Business Analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Advance PMO Practices: Improve methodologies, templates, and tools; lead lessons-learned reviews and embed best practices.
  • Support Portfolio Management: Provide insights on resource use, project health, and strategic alignment.
What You Bring to the Role
  • 7+ years of project management experience, including 3+ in senior roles, with a proven track record in enterprise IT delivery.
  • PMP certification required; Agile/Scrum, ITIL, or SAFe preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Analytical and strategic thinker with a bias for action and results.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and managing competing priorities.
  • Industry experience in forestry or manufacturing is an asset; occasional travel required.
