Job Description

Join our Water Engineering team as a Senior Project Manager in Process Mechanics for Water Treatment. You will oversee projects ranging from technical studies to design and construction support for municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment projects. This role offers a hybrid work model based in Quebec City or Montreal.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Manage large-scale projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery of plans, specifications, and engineering concepts.
2. Serve as a technical expert, mentoring less experienced team members and resolving complex issues.
3. Coordinate resources, professionals, and liaise with other disciplines to meet project deadlines.
4. Engage with clients, present project proposals, prepare budgets and schedules, and monitor progress.
5. Review treatment processes and conduct studies to optimize systems.
6. Supervise team work on treatment technology selection and equipment.
7. Assist in environmental assessments, design dossiers, and technical reports.
8. Oversee preparation of contract specifications and technical calculations.
9. Participate in site inspections for assessment and design purposes.
10. Lead project execution, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and work procedures.
11. Coordinate with municipal clients, authorities, and regulatory bodies to facilitate project approvals.
12. Organize meetings with stakeholders and prepare presentation materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, chemical, mechanical, or environmental engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience in designing water and wastewater treatment plants.
• Membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong project management skills across multidisciplinary teams.
