Qualifications

  • Minimum 10-12 years of relevant environmental investigation experience.
  • Full membership in Professional Geoscientists Ontario (PGO) or Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) required.
  • Valid Canadian driver’s license; French language skills are an asset.

Job Description

CIMA+ is expanding in the Greater Golden Horseshoe (GGH) and across Ontario. Our Earth and Environment team seeks a Senior Project Manager in Geoscience, Hydrogeology, or Environmental Engineering to lead complex, multidisciplinary projects focused on environmental due diligence, brownfield and site redevelopment, and hydrogeology.

This role involves leading high-impact environmental and hydrogeological investigations (Phase I & II ESA, Excess Soils Management, etc.) for complex projects. You can choose your workplace from our offices in the Greater Toronto Area (Toronto, Kitchener, Mississauga, Burlington, Bowmanville, London). Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in proposal preparation and review bid and pricing strategies.
  • Manage projects and lead technical teams on engineering and construction projects, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality outcomes.
  • Establish and oversee quality control procedures to produce accurate, high-quality deliverables following industry standards.
  • Mentor and train junior team members to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Verify methodologies and conduct final reviews of reports for quality assurance.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with stakeholders and subcontractors.
  • Support business development and team visibility through strong internal and client relationships.
  • Demonstrate business development skills by establishing and maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, earth science, or environmental engineering; a graduate degree is an asset.
  • Full membership in Professional Geoscientists Ontario (PGO) or Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
  • Minimum 10-12 years of relevant environmental investigation experience.
  • Strong understanding of municipal, provincial, and federal regulations.
  • Skills include effective teamwork, communication, leadership, and technical excellence.
  • Valid Canadian driver’s license; French language skills are an asset.
