Overview

Insight Global is seeking a seasoned Senior IT Project Manager for a 6-month contract (with strong potential for extension) to lead phase 1 of a projected 5-year cyber initiative, focused on RFP selection and a paid proof of concept with the chosen vendor. Followed by phase 2, which includes scope definition and implementation planning. This role requires someone confident navigating contract negotiations, MSAs, SOWs, and vendor relationships, with proven success in stakeholder management and guiding complex, high-visibility programs—especially in maturing new lines of business. The PM will manage Agile delivery, build and maintain schedules, control scope, and lead communication across diverse teams and sponsors. Strong vendor management and a strategic mindset to navigate ambiguity are essential. The ideal candidate will be located in Toronto (or Calgary), with the requirement of being in office two days per week.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing RFP processes, including contract negotiations (MSAs and SOWs), vendor selection, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in the insurance industry is essential.
  • Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint for task and document management.
  • Solid experience in project scheduling and planning.
  • Strong command of financial reporting and tracking, including rate logs and budget reviews.
  • Exceptional stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business conversations.
  • Experience delivering presentations to senior-level stakeholders.
  • Experience working within a cyber team or on cyber projects.
