Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced cloud architecture leader to oversee Azure, AWS, and GCP deployments, governance, and cost optimization. You will drive security, compliance, and automation while guiding cross-functional teams across IT, engineering, and security.

The role emphasizes FinOps, IaC, and incident response, with a focus on SOC 2, ISO 2701, and GDPR compliance across enterprise SaaS environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience delivering cloud services or enterprise IT initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Experience leading cloud services and corporate IT functions.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Security/compliance expertise incl. SOC 2, ISO 2701, GDPR.
• Ability to communicate strategy to tech and non-tech stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Align cloud operations with SOC 2, ISO 2701, and GDPR frameworks.
• Improve RBAC and least-privilege access models.
• Enable product engineering, DevOps, operations, and support teams with secure infra.
• Define provisioning guidelines aligned with performance, security, and budget goals.
• Provide cloud architecture advice for new product initiatives.
• Champion FinOps and optimize cloud spend with reserved instances, autoscaling, dashboards.
• Collaborate with Finance to forecast budgets and manage cloud vendor contracts.
• Define and execute the corporate cloud roadmap.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, including AI tools.
• Represent Information Services in cross-functional leadership forums.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading cloud services and corporate IT functions
• Strong understanding of Azure, AWS, and GCP
• Strong grasp of FinOps, IT automation, and governance practices
• Security and compliance expertise, including SOC 2, ISO 2701, and GDPR
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code practices, such as Terraform and CloudFormation
• Experience with cost optimization tools and dashboarding, such as CloudHealth and AWS Cost Explorer
• Knowledge of security best practices, IAM, and RBAC
• Ability to communicate strategy and technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
