Who are we looking for?

Our Ontario Transportation Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Project Director to join our growing Canadian Operations. The position can be located in any of our Whitby, Markham, Mississauga, St. Catharines, or Waterloo offices.

Due to growth in our transportation practice, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager for any of our GTA offices. This role will be key in developing and expanding GHD's Transit / Rail practice.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), road, and bridge projects for municipal clients as a Project Manager.
• Delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards; providing leadership and supervision.
• Responding proactively to client requests and exceeding expectations.
• Monitoring project schedules, coordinating with sub-consultants, municipalities, utility companies, railway owners/operators, and clients; assisting with contract administration.
• Collaborating within teams, integrating with other engineering disciplines to produce high-quality deliverables.
• Supporting business development through proposal leadership and client relationship management.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Ontario P.Eng. designation or eligibility.
• 15+ years of experience in transportation infrastructure design and engineering, including BRT.
• Experience working with municipal transportation clients in the Greater Toronto Area.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven leadership and mentorship abilities.
• Experience with alternative project delivery methods is an asset.
