Mott MacDonald in Vancouver is seeking a dynamic Senior Civil Project Manager to lead and deliver transportation, ports/terminals and land development projects across Western Canada from our Vancouver office.

You will engage with municipal, provincial and client teams, manage multi-disciplinary design efforts, and drive quality, schedule and budget while developing strong relationships and pursuing new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering and P.Eng designation registered in BC or other transferable province.
• 10-15 years of civil design and project management experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to self-manage and proven track record of delivering successful multidisciplinary projects.
• Established industry network with municipal, provincial and other agency clients, as well as consultants.
• Good working knowledge of municipal, provincial, TAC and other design guidelines and standards.
• Business development experienced and leading winning project proposals.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and a working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Project manage multi-disciplinary teams delivering civil infrastructure projects from planning to construction stages for roads/highways, transit, ports/terminals, utilities, and other municipal infrastructure.
• Ensure quality deliverables within scope, schedule, and budget while managing resources.
• Engage directly with clients and take overall responsibility for delivery and change management.
• Collaborate on business development, industry events, partnerships, client engagement, and proposal preparation.

Mott MacDonald is currently seeking a dynamic Senior Civil Project Manager to support our public and private sector clients across Western Canada from our Vancouver office. The individual in this position will be responsible for successfully leading and delivering a variety of exciting transportation, ports/terminals, and land development projects. You'll be responsible for engaging and working with our clients in the civil infrastructure market, including the province, municipalities, consultants, and contractors, developing strong working relationships and delivering a variety of multi-modal transportation and other assignments including roads/highways, ports/terminals, land development, or drainage projects.

As Senior Civil Project Manager your responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:

• Project manage multi-disciplinary project teams delivering civil infrastructure projects from planning to detailed design and construction stages for roads/highways, transit, port/terminals,utilities,and other municipal infrastructure.
• Ensure the efficient and effective preparation of quality project deliverables, while adhering to scope, schedule, and budget, as well as managing project resources.
• Engage directly with clients on projects, taking overall responsibility for successful project delivery and change management.
• Work alongside colleagues in the business development cycle, including industry events, strategic partnering, client engagement, and proposal preparation, helping grow this service delivery area.

Asthe qualified candidate, you possess the following skills/qualifications:

• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering andP.Engdesignation registered in BC or other transferable province.
• 10-15 years of civil design and project management experience.

The expected salary range for this position is from $131,000 - $160,000
