We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to provide leadership, direction, and technical guidance within the assigned area of responsibility. The role involves ensuring quality management and technical services are delivered to clients and that operating performance targets are met. The Senior Project Manager will also mentor junior project managers involved in sophisticated and unconventional projects.

The successful candidate will join an existing project in the greater Vancouver area, currently in the construction phase, where AtkinsRéalis acts as an Owner’s Engineer for a key client. Responsibilities include leading, directing, and providing technical guidance to engineering disciplines and sub-consultants involved in the project. The role requires interfacing with the Client Project Manager and senior operational staff. Engineering disciplines involved include mechanical, structural, electrical, architectural, civil, and environmental. The Senior Project Manager will coordinate all engineering aspects of the project, manage budgets, and oversee QA/QC processes.

Responsibilities

1. Manage complex projects across broad technical specialties, providing leadership to other project managers and technical staff.
2. Oversee staffing, performance reviews, and career development for assigned staff.
3. Ensure project quality, financial performance, and compliance with schedules and budgets.
4. Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to pursue new business opportunities.
5. Manage contracts, negotiate budgets, and ensure project profitability.
6. Represent AtkinsRéalis to clients, regulatory agencies, sub-consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (graduate degree preferred).
• 12 years of experience (or 11 with an M.S.), including at least 3 years in a senior project management role involving infrastructure programs.
• Strong leadership, technical, financial, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional registration (e.g., P. Eng., P.E., PMP, CCM) required within one year.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and travel as needed.
• Experience with industrial buildings and transportation infrastructure is preferred.

Expected compensation ranges from $160,000.00 to $200,000.00, determined by skills, experience, and potential impact. Offers are competitive and consider internal and external factors.
