Job summary

Appfabs Incorporation is seeking a Senior Project Manager/ Product Owner to lead planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise software and digital transformation initiatives. You will partner with business stakeholders, engineering, QA, UX/UI, and architecture to define strategy, prioritize needs, and ensure on-time delivery.

You will drive Agile delivery, manage the backlog, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives while advancing cloud-based solutions and modern platforms.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager/ Product Owner to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of enterprise software products and digital transformation initiatives. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, architects, and QA to define product strategy, prioritize business needs, and ensure solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives.

PROJECT CONTEXT

The successful candidate will support the delivery of enterprise web and cloud-based applications, working across the full product lifecycle, from product discovery and roadmap planning to execution, release, and continuous improvement. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive Agile delivery, manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver innovative, customer-focused solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define product vision, gather requirements, and prioritize business needs.
  • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring user stories and acceptance criteria are clearly defined and prioritized.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee project execution, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Work closely with engineering, QA, UX/UI, and architecture teams to drive successful product delivery.
  • Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and issues while providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement by optimizing delivery processes and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
  • 7+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Project Manager delivering enterprise software solutions.
  • Proven ability to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into actionable user stories and product features.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring alignment throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Define product priorities, maintain the product roadmap, and manage backlog refinement activities.
  • Lead project planning, resource coordination, risk management, and delivery tracking to ensure successful execution.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to validate requirements, support UAT, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress, communicate status updates, and proactively resolve delivery challenges.
  • Support release planning, deployment activities, and continuous improvement initiatives to maximize product value.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 7+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Project Manager delivering enterprise software solutions.
  • Proven experience leading Agile product delivery, including backlog management, roadmap planning, sprint execution, and release management.
  • Strong ability to translate business objectives into product requirements, user stories, and actionable development plans.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, software architecture, and end-to-end application delivery.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry or healthcare technology domain is considered an asset.
