The role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in Capital Markets, Foreign Exchange (FX), and Payments. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience leading technology and business projects, managing cross-functional teams, and delivering complex initiatives on time and within budget. This individual will excel in stakeholder management, have a keen eye for financial controls, and ensure timely delivery of multiple concurrent projects in a high-paced environment.


You will
  • End-to-End Project Delivery: Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple projects across Capital Markets, FX, and Payments domains.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior business leaders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting, ensuring cost control and ROI realization.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and issues; develop mitigation plans and drive resolution.
  • Process Excellence: Implement and refine project management best practices to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality delivery.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Awareness: Ensure project alignment with industry regulations and internal compliance standards.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior project managers, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.

Who you are
  • 10+ years of progressive project management experience in Capital Markets, FX, and Payments.
  • Proven expertise in delivering large-scale technology and business transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets products, FX trading processes, and payment systems.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
  • Solid financial acumen with experience in managing project budgets exceeding $5M.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Eclipse) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure, dynamic environments.
