Job summary

Aplin is seeking an experienced industrial Project Manager in Saskatoon to provide senior leadership over planning, construction, commissioning, and handover of major projects. You will coordinate contractors, suppliers, engineering teams, and stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with rigorous safety and quality standards.

  • 15+ years of project management experience on industrial projects.
  • Extensive experience coordinating multiple contractors and suppliers.
  • Experience working within an operating industrial facility.
  • Strong understanding of project schedules, budgets, contracts, risk, and change management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Engineering degree in Mechanical, Process, Industrial, Chemical, or related discipline is an asset.

  • Lead construction completion, punch-list activities, commissioning, and project handover.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates and reporting to leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs, manage risks, and improve project timelines.
  • Maintain project risk, cost, change, and contract documentation.
  • Ensure safety requirements and project standards are consistently followed.
  • Support project closeout and final documentation.

Work Requirements
  • Must be based in or near Saskatoon
  • Regular in-person meetings in Saskatoon
  • Travel to a remote project site on a fly-in/fly-out basis
  • 11-hour workdays while onsite, including a 1-hour unpaid lunch
  • Additional hours may be required with approval
