Role Summary

The Senior Project Manager within Business Systems will be a key member of a dynamic team focused on optimizing organizational systems and processes. You will lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency and support the implementation of business systems, collaborating with diverse stakeholders to understand various departmental workflows and technologies. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence how Magnet Forensics operates and to deliver impactful improvements supporting our growth and innovation.

Role Responsibilities
  1. Lead project teams for new system implementations or enhancements of existing systems and processes.
  2. Define project scope and objectives, involve relevant stakeholders, and ensure feasibility and timely delivery.
  3. Manage multiple cross-functional projects, keeping stakeholders informed throughout.
  4. Maintain relationships and manage expectations with external stakeholders and clients.
  5. Track project work items across organizational groups.
  6. Perform risk management by identifying risks and deciding on mitigation strategies.
  7. Provide regular status updates and escalate issues to management as needed.
  8. Ensure initiatives are prioritized and aligned with business and financial goals.
  9. Manage change proactively, ensuring understanding of impacts and facilitating decision-making.
  10. Collaborate with teams for smooth handovers of project deliverables.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years’ experience managing business, functional, and systems projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of project management tools, techniques, and methodologies
  • Deep understanding of business systems
  • Proven success in fast-paced environments, with strong task prioritization and team leadership skills
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership qualities including influencing and negotiation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • PMP Certification is an asset

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range listed is for the primary location and may vary based on location and experience. If applying outside the primary location, the Talent Acquisition Partner will provide more details. For roles with incentive components, the range reflects total target compensation (base + variable).

Compensation Range: MIN: $92,400; MID: $132,000; MAX: $158,400 (CAD)
