As an experienced Senior Project Manager in the Civil & Infrastructure team at Pomerleau Construction, you will manage large-scale building and infrastructure projects—ranging from several million dollars to upwards of $1 billion—while working closely with our client groups and subcontractors, acting as an integral part of our projects team.

What You Will Do

  • Grow and maintain strong relationships with team members, trade partners, consultants, and clients to achieve project goals and vision.
  • Support your project management teams to develop and drive the construction schedule ensuring that completion dates and milestones are met.
  • Apply your financial management experience to plan, manage, and respect project budgets, costs, and associated purchasing.
  • Share your knowledge and be a role model through mentorship opportunities with project team members.
  • Be an expert in risk management to ensure any associated project risk is minimized.

Take pride in compiling and completing company-wide project reports.

  • Demonstrate leadership in Health, Safety, and Environmental Protection on the project.
  • This role could be for you if you have

    • 10+ years of experience in Project Management in the construction industry.
    • University Degree / Technology Diploma in Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience.
    • Exceptional leadership, organizational prowess, influential abilities, adept problem-solving, ensuring project success amidst diverse challenges.
    • Strong knowledge of construction and project methodologies, financial management, as well as building codes and associated legislation.
    • Be a champion and role model for quality and all health and safety best practices.
    • Experience working with scheduling software; knowledge and experience with P6 considered a strong asset.

    Additional Assets Include :

    • Fluent in both official languages, both written and oral.
