Premier Project Consultants specializes in building design, project management and development of multi-unit residential and commercial buildings in Canada, the USA and Caribbean. We are seeking a talented and passionate Senior Project Manager with experience managing residential building projects from the ground up, to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resources allocation.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial forecasts to ensure projects are completed within budget constraints
  • Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and adjust plans as necessary to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Resource Allocation: Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to allocate resources effectively and efficiently.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project success.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control processes to ensure that site activities meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and project teams, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issue that arise.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all project site activities comply with relevant regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance and support to the project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve challenges and obstacles that may arise during the execution of the project, finding innovative solutions to keep projects on track.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a minimum of 8 years as a lead in mid to high-rise residential building projects.
  • Strong understanding of building processes, techniques, and best practices.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g. Primavera, Procore, MS Project, Jonas).
  • Knowledge of building regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
  • PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
