Our client, Nexco Construction Company is growing and seeking an ambitious and results‑driven Senior Project Manager based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The role involves leading civil construction projects from pre‑construction through closeout, overseeing planning, execution, financial performance, and client management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead successful delivery of civil construction projects from pre‑construction through completion and closeout.
• Develop, manage and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts and resource plans.
• Oversee project financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities to maximize profitability.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal project teams.
• Ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently and in accordance with contract requirements and quality standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and change orders to proactively identify challenges and solutions.
• Lead project meetings, communicate progress updates, and provide strategic direction to field teams.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, operational efficiencies, and enhanced project delivery.

Qualifications
