Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Project Engineer (Runways) to join our team! You will partner with engineering and lead construction management activities for delivery on an airport program.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Plan, coordinate, and supervise airport construction projects from start to finish.
2. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
3. Ensure all construction activities comply with airport regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
4. Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and construction crews.
5. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
6. Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
7. Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.
8. Ensure effective communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders.
9. Implement and enforce quality control measures and safety protocols.
10. Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and compliance records.
11. Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for construction.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on airport or aviation projects.
3. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
4. Strong knowledge of airport construction regulations and standards.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
6. Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
7. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
8. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
9. Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) are a plus.
