Job description

Senior Project Engineer for our Highways & Roads team in Winnipeg. You will assist in delivering and coordinating transportation projects in Manitoba, providing operational and technical support to WSP clients and the Transportation Engineering Manager. This role requires travel throughout Manitoba.

What you can expect to do here :

  • Provide leadership and supervision to project teams.
  • Ensure efficient project planning, resource utilization, and budget management.
  • Project Manager / Technical Lead for Roadway Functional and Detailed Designs.
  • Project Manager / Contract Administrator for Roadway Construction Inspection projects.
  • Prepare proposals, attend client meetings, and manage project documentation.
  • Review and approve project budgets, staff charges, and invoicing.
  • Maintain communication with the Transportation Engineering Manager on operational and financial matters.
  • Travel to support corporate and client needs.

What you'll bring to WSP :

  • Registered or eligible for registration EGM as a P.Eng.
  • Minimum 15 years of engineering and construction experience, with at least 8 years in construction management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and flexibility to work in both office and field environments.
  • Willingness to travel based on project needs.
  • Valid driver's license.
