Job summary

Shell Canada is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Scotford Refinery and Chemicals. This role will manage a portfolio of projects from the Select phase through to close-out, ensuring both home office and field execution oversight.

They will collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Construction and Turnaround (MCTA), and engineering disciplines at Scotford to deliver projects with safety, quality, cost and schedule in mind.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering and eligible for P.Eng in Canada.
• At least 6 years of project engineering/PM experience with discipline engineering.
• Experience with cost, schedule, risk and procurement processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initial definition through close-out using Shell processes.
• Manage cost, schedule, resources, contracting and procurement activities.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams beyond core engineering.
• Assess risks with Production and Maintenance planning for start-ups.
• Interface with EPCs to fulfill engineering requirements across project phases.
• Ensure safety, quality, cost control and delivery of scope.
