Job summary

Doctors of BC is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator, Practice Transformation to support the delivery of practice supports to family physicians. You will coordinate centralized intake, triage requests, and drive data collection for reporting to committees, enabling data-informed decisions.

The role partners with teams across the Practice Support Program and the Doctors Technology Office to improve internal processes, implement new applications, and enhance service quality.

Qualifications

  • A university degree and/or recognized professional designation in a related field, and up to four years of progressive and related experience; or an equivalent level of related work experience in lieu of post-secondary education.
  • Significant knowledge of a specialized functional area as well as comprehensive knowledge of the discipline is required.
  • Experience in project management and adept at balancing concurrent activities with attention to detail and time management.
  • Ability to apply logical and evaluative thinking to define problems, collect information, establish facts and determine optimal solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills with senior managers.
  • Excellent research and writing skills and proven ability to develop clear writing.
  • Proficiency with PC software, especially PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the centralized intake process, triage requests, and assign to the appropriate Practice Transformation teams.
  • Lead intake measurement and analysis for reporting to committees to identify trends and inform decisions.

THE JOB: Senior Project Coordinator, Practice Transformation

The starting salary range falls within the minimum to mid-point of the salary range.

Starting Salary Range: $63,600 - $79,500

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Service Delivery, the Senior Project Coordinator, Practice Transformation plays a key role in supporting the effective delivery of practice supports to family physicians. The position coordinates the continuous improvement of core operational processes that enable responsive, high-quality service delivery for the Practice Support Program and the Doctors Technology Office.

A primary responsibility of the Senior Project Coordinator is leading the coordination of the centralized intake process, ensuring practice support requests are accurately triaged, prioritized and assigned to the appropriate Practice Transformation teams. Additionally, the Senior Project is responsible for intake measurement and analysis for reporting to the various committees and organization to identify trends, enabling data informed decision making and continuous improvement.

Beyond central intake, the Senior Project Coordinator plays an integral role supporting a range of strategic and operational initiatives including optimization and development of internal processes, the implementation of new business applications and priorities identified through the annual FPSC workplan. The role works collaboratively across teams to strengthen operations effectiveness and enhance the experience of and impact for physicians accessing support through the Practice Support Program and the Doctors Technology Office - both flagship programs of the FPSC.

The Senior Project Coordinator requires strong analytical thinking, project coordination, relationship management, communication, and a commitment to delivering responsive high-quality service in a collaborative environment.
