The Role:

Senior Project Coordinator managing project financials in the Bank's Project Delivery & Support group.

About the Team

Projects Delivery & Support (PD&S) is a centralized project management office supporting various technology and business teams across the bank. As a Senior Project Coordinator in PD&S, you will support and lead a variety of projects across business lines and technologies, utilizing various project management methodologies and tools. You will work in a culturally diverse environment, providing our Technology and Business partners with top-tier project management expertise. Join our innovative and results-oriented team!

Is this role right for you?
  • Support management on scheduling, planning, invoicing, and forecasting financials for all assigned projects.
  • Manage and review accruals and actuals, ensuring they are entered into the appropriate tools prior to monthly cycles.
  • Support the forecast process within the Bank’s targets and drive to meet KPIs.
  • Create and manage project delivery artifacts for management reviews and meetings.
  • Provide timely and accurate updates to the project manager and leadership teams as applicable.
  • Help drive best practices to increase efficiencies, foster innovation, and create value for the business.
  • Provide consulting on project initiatives, including business case preparation and developing creative/alternative problem resolution approaches.
  • Develop strong partnerships with Business Sponsors to understand requirements and manage product backlog and benefits through open dialogue.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure business needs and project outcomes are achieved.
  • Participate in establishing project scope to maintain focus on delivery.
  • Support resource requirement identification and expectation management.
  • Create project plans and manage dependencies according to team needs.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed?
  • 5–7 years of project coordination experience.
  • 5+ years of financial management experience with IT program/project budgets.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, including creating executive presentations.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and techniques (e.g., CA PPM, MS Projects, JIRA, Confluence).
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and analytical skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
