Job summary

WSP is seeking a seasoned Project Controls Manager in Canada to coordinate project controls on EP/EPCM projects. You will act as a subject matter expert, interface with clients, and lead budgeting, scheduling, and quality reviews to ensure successful delivery.

With 20+ years in project management, you will mentor staff, manage risks, and align project execution with WSP growth strategies. This role requires travel to Saint-Constant and bilingual communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or another relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 20 years of experience in project management, including large and mega projects.
• ASP Construction card (occasional travel).
• Ability to travel to Saint-Constant twice per week.
• Bilingualism required (English and French).
• Expertise in managing expectations and delivering results in complex environments.
• Knowledge of planning tools and WBS structures.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level technical expertise, advise and propose solutions to complex technical problems.
• Oversee project controls for full multidisciplinary ERI projects of the EP/EPCM type.
• Act as an interface with clients and our internal project controls team.
• Perform project management / project controls tasks (budgeting, scheduling, invoicing, quality review).
• Address quality and performance issues on projects and support business development.
