We're looking for a seasoned programmer with Visual Basic .NET experience.

What We’re Looking For
A proactive and experienced developer who can help us modernize our systems. If you have VB.NET experience, please ensure it's stated clearly on your resume.

Key Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in:
• Visual Basic.NET (a must-have; please do not apply if you do not have this experience)
• C#
• MSSQL and writing SQL queries
• Crystal Reports
• Source/version control systems such as Git
• Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills – you're someone who can dig into code, understand how things work, and suggest improvements.
• Solid communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Experience creating clear technical documentation.
• A systems thinker – able to see the big picture while keeping track of the details.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• A customer-service mindset – responsive, professional, and solutions-oriented.
• Previous experience thriving in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.

Who This Is Perfect For
An experienced independent contractor who enjoys project-based work, takes initiative, and can confidently navigate complex systems. Ideally, someone with experience in logistics/transportation.

Location: Due to the nature of this project, you’ll be required to work on-site. Cardinal’s head office is located at 6600 Goreway Drive, Unit D, Mississauga, ON L4V 1S6 (Derry Road and Goreway Drive).
